2021: Through the Spyglass
As the end of the year approaches, I wish to write a reflective on the state of our giant sea-worthy vessel known as 'society' (penned in the exact style of @shit_queen and his beautiful annual "In and Out" list. The Pocket loves his work, it would be well worth your time to spend a few moments here).
So where is S.S. Society headed? It's difficult to estimate even our current position with so many old and new currents tugging at our small ship. And this year... it was 'all hands on deck' while we fought behemoths of Lovecraftian proportions. As the year closes, it seems as if the tides may finally be turning in our favor. Now, with the wind at our backs and shouts of "Land, Ho!" from the crow's nest above, where will we go? Of course, no one knows exactly, but we have stars, we have maps, we have astrolabes, and most importantly we have each other. Let's cast aside our eyepatches and take turns looking through the blurry spyglass together. Hold on... I think I see something! (Click here for mobile version).
